Hello, everybody!
Well, my goodness, isn't there egg on my face! Well, actually, no there isn't. That was just a metaphor. But you get the point! I goofed, and I had to correct it. First, I had noticed a little typo. But for the lengthy process of re-encoding an almost 50 minute video and re-uploading it to YouTube, I was willing to let that slide and hope no one noticed. Then Jason Bertovich had to go and ruin everything and point out an even more heinous error! It seems that somehow, in my infinite (lack of) wisdom, I managed to mix up the names of two characters, one of whom had their name in a track title! How the hell I managed to pull off such a boneheaded maneuver is beyond me. I know which character is which, darn it! And I know which of the two should have been the focus of this track's title! But... well... my brain farted, I guess, and as a result, the track that plays over when Sam kissed Matt ended up being titled "Chris Kiss." This has been corrected, and the track is now titled "Sam Smooch," Looses the rhyme, alas, but at least I was able to keep the alliteration. And since I had to fix that anyway, I also fixed the aforementioned little typo while I was at it. The corrected video has been uploaded to YouTube, and the incorrect version has been removed. If you listened to the old version, there has been no change to the audio, which is the most important bit, so no worries! (Although feel free to watch the video again should you wish to experience the gloriously corrected text!) And thanks to Jason for pointing out my blunder. I still can't believe I did that! Ah, well... The middle story of the In Japan Origins trilogy, Jason Bertovich's In Japan Origins: Matt, now has musical accompaniment! Head on over to this page to check it out. Enjoy!
Howdy, folks! Hope you don't mind me jumping ahead a bit, but the Soundtrack Project is now tackling In Japan Origins! The first (or last, depending on your point of view) part is now available. Click here for more details!
What the hell, man? I just cannot leave well enough alone. I keep meaning to set aside the Soundtrack Project for a bit, yet I keep coming back to it!
For some reason, I was compelled to work on this. Even though it meant skipping ahead a bit. And even as it took up most of my day yesterday, but otherwise it wouldn't be ready before the holiday. Anyway, just in time for Christmas, enjoy the soundtrack to part 13! (The video isn't quite done processing on YouTube as I post this, but I'm going out for holiday-ish things in a few minutes. If it isn't ready when you read this, check back in half an hour or so. Thanks!) I know, I know. I said I was done with the Soundtrack Project for a little bit... But this time, it wasn't me! I mentioned to Jason, "Hey, I've started doing this thing, and if you want Perspectives to be included, feel free to put something together!" And don't you know it, next thing I know he's sending me music and liner notes. And so I have to put it all together for you to enjoy.
So... enjoy! No new additions to the project at the moment... But I did revamp the layout of the Soundtrack Project, including splitting what would be on different albums into individual pages.
There will be a new addition to the project soon(ish) however, this one not by me! You can get a tantalizing hint as to what this might be by looking at the project's main page... Well, I wasn't planning on doing much more with the Soundtrack Project for a little while... but I just had to do one more! But that's it for now! I promise! I'm not touching it again at least for the rest of the year! (And in the meantime, I shall try to do some work on some actual writing...)
But for now... enjoy the soundtrack for Boy Scouts ½, part 6! Completing the initial storyline, there is a new video available in the Soundtrack Project.
First off, on the off chance there are any Boy Scouts ½ fans in Germany, apologies to you. It seems that, because of the choice of song I used for the BS½ opening theme, YouTube is blocking these videos in your country. (Seems to be fine thus far for the rest of the world, YouTube just added a little advertisement to where you can purchase the song in question, which frankly is fine by me. That's the rare bit of forced advertising I can not get annoyed by.)
Now, of more interest to everyone in the world who is not in Germany, I should mention that the next video in this series is now available for your enjoyment! |
